Hot tubs in Manacor and Porto Cristo
The country around Manacor is flat farmland dotted with fincas, and the coast from Porto Cristo down to Cales de Mallorca is low and easy to reach. It is one of the simpler parts of the island to deliver to and one where the all-in price is almost always the final price.
Delivery notes for Manacor & Porto Cristo
Fincas off the Ma-15 and around Son Macià have wide gates and open yards where the lorry parks a few metres from the terrace. Porto Cristo and S'Illot houses have level streets and side passages, and the odd terrace one level down toward the harbour is handled with a short ramp or a small crane. Manacor town centre has some narrow streets near the church but most houses with a garden are on the outskirts with normal access.
Country houses on the plain
A Manacor finca has a terrace, a cistern, a view of flat fields and almond trees, and plenty of space. The Cala 5 is the practical seller here, often for a local family rather than a second-home owner, and the Serra 6 for larger households. Well water is the thing to plan for; many fincas are on their own supply, which is hard and sometimes carries iron that stains an acrylic shell. We test first and fit a pre-filter on the fill hose when it is needed.
Porto Cristo and the coast
Houses in Porto Cristo, Cala Anguila and Cala Mendia are low-built, with a garden or a terrace at street level. Swim spa interest is strong here, mostly the Nedar 5.2, from owners who want to swim through the winter when the coves are cold. A swim spa at 1,800 kg dry and over 10 t full needs a proper slab, and we pour it a week ahead at 85 to 110 euros per square metre.
Local, not seasonal
Compared with the south-west, a larger share of our Manacor customers live here all year. That favours the Premium series for its lower winter running cost, 50 to 70 euros a month for a 5-seater, and it means we see these spas regularly for routine service rather than once a year before the owners fly in.
Wind and salt on the east coast
Porto Cristo gets the llevant, and terraces facing the harbour mouth take salt spray in a winter storm. Cover straps, stainless fixings and the UV-stable cabinet are standard on coastal installs.
Noise
Finca plots are large enough that noise is not an issue. In the Porto Cristo grid the houses are closer, and we point the equipment bay away from the neighbour's bedroom and set quiet hours in the app for the circulation cycles.
Installation
Standard installs here are a morning. A new electrical line to a far terrace is the most common extra, typically in the 550 to 750 euro band.
