Rodona 6
The round social tub, no lounger
The Rodona 6 is the tub for people who want to talk. Six upright seats around a 210 cm circle, everyone facing the middle, nobody lying down with their feet in the way. It holds just 900 litres, less than the Cala 5, and runs on 16 A. We see it on finca courtyards near Santa Maria and on the roof terraces of townhouses in Sóller where a square tub would look heavy.

Footprint to scale
Top view at true proportions, seats and loungers marked. Allow 60 cm of clear space on at least one side for servicing, and a path at least 100 cm wide on delivery day, because the tub travels on its side.
Why round
A round tub takes up less visual space than a square one and fits a corner or a circular paved area in a way a square never will. The Rodona 6 is Ø210 cm and 90 cm high. On a courtyard of marès stone or in the corner of a terrace with a planter on each side, it looks like it belongs there. It also suits a sunken installation, where the circle sits inside a round deck or a ring of local stone, from €2,900–4,500 on top of the tub price.
The deeper reason to choose it is the seating. Loungers are for one or two people. A round tub with six upright seats is for a conversation. Everybody is at the same height and the same distance apart.
Six seats, no lounger
Each of the six seats has its own group of jets: 32 hydro and 12 air in total, fed by one 3 HP pump. Because there is no lounger, there are no leg or foot jets, which is why the Rodona 6 has fewer jets than the Cala 6 despite seating the same number. The massage is good at the back and shoulders. If you want jets along the whole body, the Serra 5 with its two loungers is the better buy.
Six adults fit in it. Properly, with knees not touching, four to five. The seats are moulded with a slightly higher cool-down step at one position, which children use as their seat.
The 900 litre volume is the smallest of any six-seater we sell. That means faster heating, cheaper water changes and, in practice, the lowest running cost in the Essential series.
Where it goes
Delivery is on its side. At 90 cm high the tub needs a path 100 cm wide with no steps, from the kerb to the final position. Because it is round there is no awkward long side to swing around a corner, which helps on a narrow finca lane. Dry weight is 300 kg, roughly 1.5 tonnes full and occupied, so a ground-level patio of concrete or stone is enough. Price is €9,990 installed, in stock on the island.
Power is a dedicated 16 A line with an RCD. A new line up to 15 m from the consumer unit is €550–750 if there is nothing suitable nearby.
Costs after the price
An Essential tub costs about €35–45 a month in summer and €60–80 in winter on Mallorca's tariff of around €0.22/kWh, at 38 °C and three uses a week. With 900 litres the Rodona 6 sits at or below the bottom of both ranges. The cover is round and lighter than a square one, so a cover lifter at €345 is optional rather than necessary.
Water care on hard island water means checking calcium every couple of weeks. A water change from €180 includes a shell clean and refill with balanced water.
Questions about the Rodona 6
More questions? Ask on WhatsApp.
Will the Rodona 6 get through a 90 cm door?
No. It is 90 cm high and needs 100 cm of clear width on its side. A 90 cm opening means a crane over the wall, from €450–650.
Is a round tub harder to cover or clean?
No. The round cover is lighter than a square one of the same size and the shell has no corners for dirt to collect in.
How many adults fit for a long evening?
Four to five sitting back with room for knees. Six is the number of seats and works for a short soak.
Why does it have fewer jets than the Cala 6?
No lounger means no leg or foot jets. The 32 hydro jets are all at the back, shoulders and sides, where upright seats need them.

Seat counts flatter and jet counts mislead. Here is how to read both, when a lounger earns its space, and why pump count matters more than horsepower.
