Footprint to scale
Top view at true proportions, seats and loungers marked. Allow 60 cm of clear space on at least one side for servicing, and a path at least 100 cm wide on delivery day, because the tub travels on its side.
Why it's the one we sell most
Five seats is the number most households want. Two loungers is what makes the Serra 5 different from the Cala 5. Lying flat with jets from neck to feet is a different thing from sitting upright, and with two loungers a couple can both do it at once. The three upright seats take guests or children.
It is 215×215×90 cm and holds 1,400 litres. The shell footprint is the same as the Cala 6, so it fits the same 3×3 m terrace patch. Price is €12,990 installed, including IVA, delivery and standard installation with ground-level access.
Two loungers, three seats
There are 52 hydro jets and 12 air jets fed by two 3 HP pumps. Each lounger has a line of jets along the spine, pairs at the hips and a set at the feet. The upright seats have shoulder, back and calf jets. A separate low-power circulation pump runs filtration 24 hours a day quietly, so the main pumps only run when you press the button, and the water stays clearer between changes.
The colour touchscreen on the rim handles everything. The app mirrors it on your phone.
Five adults fit for a soak. Two on the loungers and two upright is the real-world comfortable number for an evening.
Running costs and water
On Mallorca's tariff of about €0.22/kWh, a Premium tub at 38 °C and three uses a week costs around €30–40 a month in summer and €50–70 in winter. The Serra 5 is the model those figures describe. Premium insulation and the circulation pump are the reason it undercuts a same-size Essential tub by €10–15 a month in winter despite holding more water.
Island water is hard. The circulation pump and larger filters help, but a water change every three months is still the rule, from €180 if we do it. The UV and ozone upgrade at €590 cuts chemical use noticeably and is worth it for a tub that children use often.
Delivery, crane and electrics
The tub is 90 cm high and travels on its side, so it needs a clear 100 cm path with no steps from the truck to the base. Dry weight is 420 kg; full and occupied it is close to 2.2 tonnes. A ground-level patio or a new concrete base at €85–110/m² is enough. A crane is €450–650 for a lift up to 15 m, typical for a townhouse in Artà or a hillside villa above Port d'Andratx.
Power is a dedicated 25 A line with an RCD: two pumps, the circulation pump and a 4.5 kW heater add up. Many villas have the capacity; older apartments often do not, and a new line is €550–750 up to 15 m. If 25 A is a problem, the Cala 5 does five seats on 16 A. If you host six regularly, look at the Serra 6.
Questions about the Serra 5
More questions? Ask on WhatsApp.
How much power does the Serra 5 need?
A dedicated 25 A line with an RCD from the consumer unit. We check your supply on the site visit and quote a new line if needed.
Will it go through a 90 cm gate?
No. On its side it is 90 cm high and needs 100 cm of clearance. For a 90 cm gate we quote a crane, from €450–650.
How many adults really fit?
Five for a soak. For a relaxed evening, four: two on the loungers, two upright.
What will it cost to keep warm in January?
Around €50–70 a month at 38 °C, three uses a week. With the app you can lower it to 30 °C while away and bring it back up the day before you arrive.
