Santa Ponsa and Nova Santa Ponsa are built around three golf courses on level ground, with villas that have wide drives, big pool terraces and owners who are often away. It is the easiest part of the island for us to deliver to and the one where the service plan matters most.
Delivery notes for Santa Ponsa & Nova Santa Ponsa
Plots in Nova Santa Ponsa are flat and the drives are designed for cars pulling boats, so the lorry gets to within a few metres of the terrace and the spa goes in on a trolley. Older Santa Ponsa houses near the beach sometimes have a terrace one level below the street, in which case a short crane lift over the garden wall is the quickest route. Parking is never an issue outside August.
Golf villas and second homes
The typical customer here owns a villa near Golf Santa Ponsa or on the slopes above Nova Santa Ponsa, spends spring and autumn on the island and lets family use the house in summer. German and British owners make up most of our enquiries, and the questions are the same in both languages: what does it really cost, who looks after it when I am not here, and will the community object.
Models
The Serra 5 and Serra 6 lead. Two pumps, a circulation pump and an app that lets you set the temperature from the airport in Düsseldorf or Manchester two days before you land. Swim spas are a growing share, usually the Nedar 4.3 for owners who want to swim every morning but have a pool that is only good for cooling off. All three run quietly enough for a plot with neighbours 10 m away.
Community statutes
Most of Nova Santa Ponsa sits inside urbanisations with their own rules on works, noise hours and what sits on a terrace. A free-standing spa normally needs no licence, but we suggest a note to the community administrator before installation, and we supply the spec sheet for it. Check with your community if the spa is to be sunken or if the terrace is shared.
Water, salt and sun
Santa Ponsa water is hard and the terraces take full sun from midday. We fit UV-stable cabinets, recommend a cover lifter so the lid is handled rather than dragged, and set the water routine for high calcium from the first fill. Houses on the front line toward El Toro get salt air and we treat the cabinet fixings accordingly.
Looking after an empty house
The holiday check plan from 45 euros a visit keeps the water balanced and the cover secure while you are away, and the water care visit from 95 euros resets everything before you arrive. Most owners here take one or the other, and the spa is at 38 °C when the taxi pulls in.
